The week is based on our private game lodge in the Highlands run by our friends Davey and Cheryl. From there we move to different iconic rivers and lochs building towards tackling some of the best canoe rivers in Scotland including the River Ness, River Spey, and Beauley. The best of Scotland Canoe expedition is run by our team of professional instructors passing on years of canoeing and kayaking experience and is progressive building new skills.
The week long canoe trip also includes a night wild camping in Wester Ross on the Route 500 in Loch Maree (the loch within a Loch with its incredible history and vistas). This trip always fills up quickly so contact us to book your place ASAP. You can secure your place on this ‘bucket list’ canoe expedition by paying the initial deposit of £149 (non refundable) of by paying in full.

Just returned from a week in Scotland with Canoe Trail and it was one of the best organised trips I have done. The team were awesome, great instruction with loads of patience for those new to paddling, the venue was great and the food was a fantastic mix of local dishes, all prepared on site by the team.

Just returned yesterday from a great trip to Scotland canoeing iconic Lochs such as Ness and Maree and the rivers Ness, Beauly and Spey. Although relatively inexperienced we were superbly coached by Rich and Ash. They built up our confidence and abilities during the week and really made us want to continue our canoeing adventure. Also great lodgings and fantastic hearty food gave us a real boost. Would highly recommend this or other trips with Canoe Trail. We will certainly be doing more.
