Canoe Trail Win Pride in Bedfordshire Award 2014

We are delighted to have been recognised in winning this award for our work in the outdoors and tourism.

Nov 2014

On the night we ditched our flip flops and dressed smartly. Nerves were jangling and then we received the great news that we had won. Happy Days. A few words about our peers, there were so many deserving people and organizations also nominated that we did feel a wee bit guilty. Luckily they were very supportive of our achievement.

That said we are proud of Bedford and the River Great Ouse is our office and of course the jewel in Bedford’s crown. Next year we will be expanding our outdoor activities, more groups, more woodland activities, and residential courses so please keep in touch.

We are planning to try and introduce newsletters with river clean-ups, kit offers, paddling trips, and plenty more from deepest darkest Bedfordshire.

Thanks for supporting us and see you on the water. Ash & Rich.

Just returned from a week in Scotland with Canoe Trail. It was one of the best organised trips I have done. The team were awesome, great instruction with loads of patience for those new to paddling.
