SUP's For Sale

Canoe Trail are experts in SUP (stand up paddle boarding) courses, skills and qualifications. We have been in the SUP game since almost the beginning and have a great knowledge of SUP boards (iSUP's and hard boards) and work with some of the premier board manufacturers including Jobe and Red Paddle Co, as well as equipment manufacturers Palm Equipment and Peak UK.

Driven by passion

Our staff have been sponsored by Red Paddle Co for adventures, have written the Great British Paddling Adventures Guidebook for SUP, kayak and canoe trips and routes around the UK and are tutors for SUP based qualifications including Open Water SUP Leader, SUP Instructor and Touring Leader. Drop us a line to access our hire fleet, find out about second hand SUP's for sale or talk to us about ordering a new SUP board and package from us. We are Bedfordshire's leading SUP Skills provider. Many of our instructors practice stand up paddle boarding on sessions, with school groups and in their own time to develop ninja skills boarding.

Calum our Centre Manager was pretty much born onto a board and is a Level 3 Ski and Snowboarding instructor, Paddle UK qualification provider and also an accomplished skate boarder. These transferable skills make him a great coach to help newbies to the sport and intermediate paddlers develop new skills and expertise. Rich spent years working and managing a windsurfing shop Endless Summer and Ash learnt balance training the Queens horses.  Rest assured booking a course, or seeking equipment from us means you will get access to good advice and a wealth of knowledge.

Buying a Second Hand SUP

The technology for inflatable SUP's (stand up paddle boards) has been part of the revolution driving the world's fastest growing watersport. There is a plenty of advice to say "try before you buy" and we can support that with a hire session that can be refunded off any future purchase. We regularly have second hand ex fleet SUP boards for sale allowing you to purchase a great SUP at a reduced and discounted price.

We have over 30 boards in our fleet at Kempston Outdoor Centre in Bedfordshire and run regular intro to SUP courses and taster sessions to speed up the learning curve and skill acquisition.

Things to check

  • Condition of the deckplate
  • Any repairs or punctures visible
  • Condition of paddle (again we have fleet paddles and try to keep paddles new for sale with second hand boards as an option)
  • Pump and leash (we typically keep a few fleet pumps in use and then sell on pumps new and unused)
  • Repair kit (generally the patches and glue are worth ordering new as the glue can become less effective over time)
  • Bag included
  • Fin(s)  and finbox

Just returned from a week in Scotland with Canoe Trail. It was one of the best organised trips I have done. The team were awesome, great instruction with loads of patience for those new to paddling.
