Canoe Trail has teamed up with the Marston Vale Forest Centre Trust to create a new wild campsite situated just off the River Great Ouse.

We are truly excited by this new addition to our Canoe Trail allowing our customers and schools groups we work with to canoe or kayak, wild camp in a wilderness woodland, cook breakfast and then paddle on.

Our wild camp site can be as simple as an overnight experience linked to paddling our iconic river location or part of a multiday trip along the River Great Ouse. The wild campsite itself is similar to many of the locations that Richard has visited on his adventures in Canada and Alaska.

Facilities and activities include;

Hammock trees

Why not camp and sleep in one of our unique hammock trees. Suspended in comfort just above the woodland floor this offers a great nights sleep in a different and memorable way.

Shelter Building and Bivvying

We can provide woodland materials and guidance for you to build your own shelter to bivvy out in the wilderness campsite. What better way to enjoy wild camping than to build your own shelter. Test your survival skills and earn your great night’s sleep.
