Canoe Trail are a partner and sponsor of the Bushcraft Show having worked with the magazine and show for over a decade. Richard is the former editor of the magazine.

Canoe Trail run the watersports and adventure zone with outdoor activities including : canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, zorbing axe throwing, canoe and brew cafe, archery and air rifles.

Canoe trail will be sharing tales of adventure activities on main stage again and also all things canoeing, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding with their expeditions and adventures with show deals and offers.

Level 1 Intro to Stand Up Paddleboard Course (SUP) 3 Week Coached Block - Week 2

Over three weeks make friends, get fit and master the Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) sport learning skills and drills, confidence and the ability to paddle independently. It Includes the Paddle UK (British Canoeing) Start Personal Paddling Award. Stand up paddle board lessons from professional instructors are the quickest way to learn how to paddle board and SUP safely on rivers, lakes and the sea.

Level 1 Intro to Kayaking Course - 3 Week Coached Blocks - Week 2

Kempston Outdoor Centre

Each 3 week block (90. mins) of kayak coaching is designed to provide the stepping stones to become a more experienced paddler and include the appropriate National Governing Body qualifications, Personal Paddling Awards (PPA) covering Start, Discover and Explore PPA's.

Spend 3 weeks in 3 progressive blocks of coached skills developing and honing kayaking skills including forward paddling, turning, steering, safety and rescues as well as support strokes. This course includes the Paddle UK Start, Discover and Explore Awards. (Additional costs for certification)

Dates:
20th May, 27th May and 3rd June 2026 at 18.30pm for 90 mins plus a complimentary hire session

Requirements:
Suitable for ages 8+ Anyone under the age of 18 needs to be accompanied by an adult 21 years and over.

Timings:
As above with options for evening or weekend private and group courses
