High Ropes Challenge Parties
Our High Ropes Parties certainly raise the bar with climbing, team work and scaling the heights of Kempston Outdoor Centre High Ropes Course. This normally runs for 90 minutes and we provide a qualified and experienced instructor, as well as all the kit, full body harnesses and helmets.

Our high ropes course has a range of options and instructors usually set up a couple of options from Leap of Faith, All Aboard, Jacobs Ladder and Postman's Walk. Our parties provide fun and great memories and also offer important life skills lessons such as teamwork, decision making and communication
Standard prices for the High Ropes Party are set for 10 children and young people. There is an optional add-on for extra participants for an additional cost.
Party age range is 7-15 years old.

What size of parties can you offer?
Canoe trail can flex the size of birthday parties at Kempston Outdoor Centre to allow larger parties by adding a second group and increasing the number of instructors scheduled and working. We offer two formats, a mini, smaller group sizes, and a full party, ranging from 8-15 participants. Each party is designed to be fun with lots of opportunity to tackle different challenges, play games and make memories. If you need to invite more young people for a bigger party then select 2 groups for example eg 2 x 8 =16. Our group sizes are designed to fit alongside instructor ratios to keep with safety protocols and best practice. Dont forget as a company we run large school bookings up to 250 participants so we are used to bigger groups. we do of course split groups down to smaller ratio sizes for specific activities.
Is there somewhere to serve cake and relax afterwards?
As part of the party you are welcome to use our dedicated field areas around our benches and bushcraft areas to relax and serve food. Often birthday parties will serve birthday cake and food after the activities and we allow up to 30 minutes after the party for this

Canoe Trail offer many different birthday party options in Bedford at Kempston Outdoor Centre with a range of unique outdoor activities including a watersports party, SUP Safari party with stand up paddleboards, a bushcraft party, indoor and outdoor climbing
What age of birthday parties do you run?
Our birthday parties start from 5 years old typically up to 15 years although obviously as a company we cater for all ages and abilities. For each party we have provided a guide age to help with which ones are most appropriate for each age range. Our holiday clubs run in partnership with Bedford Borough range from 5 to 16 so we are used to working with young people to provide inspirational activities and sessions
