The exciting Bedford Invitational Stand Up Paddle Board Race will be held on the 16th July at 8.15pm

Stand Up Paddle Board Race Information

Race Location: MK40 3QF (The Watersports arena on Longholme Island)

Start Time: 8.15pm

Race Briefing: 7.15pm

Cost: £15 includes a free tee shirt and prizes

The race course will run on the main river section starting at the Suspension Bridge and paddling upstream towards the main Town Bridge. Paddlers will pass through the main arch of the bridge upstream towards the buoy which is ½ mile from the start. 1 lap will consist of paddling upstream and around the top turn buoy and back to the start.

Terms and Conditions

Each competitor will be complete a race registration form online and make a payment to enter the race.
Canoe Trail will provide a number of SUP’s on a first come first-served basis. Racers need to register for use of a board.
Any interference with other competitors, or their equipment during the race will result in disqualification
Failure to paddle the course will also result in disqualification
In the event of a medical condition or injury then competitors should make themselves known to the event safety team.
