Canoe Trail Features in the Daily Telegraph

Canoe Trail Feature in the Daily Telegraph for Canoe and Camping Excellence For The Second Time.

Once again Canoe Trail has scooped the plaudits from national media for their stunning riverside woodland campsite and canoe and kayak camping.

Already voted Top 52 things to do in the world by Lonely Planet the team are chuffed to appear in the Daily Telegraph for the second time in their Staycation feature. Customers can enjoy a leisurely 5 mile paddle from Bedford's stunning Victorian Embankment through meandering and tranquil river banks teeming with wildlife until they reach our private woodland. You literally paddle up the brook and stop adjacent the green canopy and head for your clearing to set up camp. An open fire, plenty of fresh air miles and food cooked slowly over the embers is surely one of the best ways to unwind from the stresses and strains of modern life. It is also a simple connection to our ancestors through the ages and the charming warmth and calming influence of campfire time.

Read a book, relax with loved ones, toast a marshmallow or go for a open water swim it nurtures the soul and recharges the batteries away from the hustle and bustle providing the perfect digitial detox.

Here's what the Daily Telegraph had to say...

"Discover the greatness of the Great Ouse with the family run Canoe Trail. Pass reeded riverbanks and tiny isles, look for kingfishers or herons and mooor up midway at a secluded woodland site for a campfire under the stars."

You learn more and book a canoe and camp (or kayak) here.

There are weekend and midweek options and also our own slightly longer staycation option.

Happy trails and happy camping!

Just returned from a week in Scotland with Canoe Trail. It was one of the best organised trips I have done. The team were awesome, great instruction with loads of patience for those new to paddling.
