You can hire canoes, kayaks, and stand up paddleboards when booking any of the trips below. Canoe Trail launches from two locations, Bedford Embankment and Kempston (on the outskirts of Bedford). Choose from a short paddle for a relaxed family activity or put your skills to the test with a full-day hire. 

These River Great Ouse routes are easy to paddle making it a relaxing time on the water. No experience is required and these are self-guided. We provide basic bankside tuition, paddles, buoyancy aids, and also potentially other equipment needed including dry bags and a basic map. This depends on trip length, location, and conditions.
